| Defect Description | In some of the affected vehicles, the right hand engine oil separator may have been damaged prior to engine assembly. A damaged oil separator may leak oil, and the customer may smell oil smoke may see oil smoke emanating from under the hood area , or may observed oil leaks on or under the engine. In some cases, if sufficient oil accumulates and migrates to an ignition source, an under the hood fire may occur, increasing the risk of injury. |
| Procedure | Al Tayer Motors and Premier Motors will contact the affected customers to inform them about this recall, and ask them to bring their cars in order to check the right hand engine oil separator will be inspected for evidence of oil leak and/or damage or , and will be replaced free of charge should any oil leak or damage be found. Every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out.
