This service allows qualified individuals to work in the accounting and auditing profession in the country, through their licensing by the Ministry to practice the profession.

Service Fees
- AED 100
- Registration fee for individuals: AED 4,500 for three years
Conditions and Requirements
- The customer must be of good conduct and behavior and has not been convicted by a final court ruling of a felony or misdemeanor involving turpitude or dishonesty unless he has been rehabilitated, and he shall not be sentenced to disciplinary action for reasons affecting the integrity and honor of the profession or position ethics he was occupying unless a period of no less than (3) three years has lapsed since the issuance of such a final ruling.
- The customer must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting or any other specialization recognized in the State, provided that he has the equivalent of at least (15) fifteen credit hours in accounting courses approved by the Ministry.
- The customer must have practical experience in the field of auditing for a period of no less than five (5) years after obtaining the academic qualification.
- The following conditions apply to non-citizens seeking a license to practice the profession: (1) One year if his experience outside the state exceeds (10) years. (2) Two years in case his experience outside the country ranged from (5) five to (10) years. (3) Three years if his experience outside the country ranged from (2) two to (5) five years.
- The customer must have a valid Fellowship Certificate.
Required Documents
- A recent color photograph.
- A copy of a certificate of good conduct.
- A copy of a valid fellowship certificate from the Emirates Association of Accountants and Auditors (Emirates Association of Accountants and Auditors website ( https://aaa4uae.ae/site/ )
- A copy of the academic qualification certificate, certified or equivalent from the relevant authority.
- A copy of the experience certificate.
- A copy of the auditor's approved signature sample.
- A certificate of completion of 15 credit hours of approved accounting courses if the academic qualification is in a field other than accounting.
- A letter of address indicating the current employer.
- Professional liability insurance in the name of the firm where the certified public accountant works.
