The Ministry of Economy Attains Quality Management Certificates

The Ministry of Economy and Tourism takes pride in its leadership in delivering exceptional services in line with highest international standards, having obtained international accreditation through a comprehensive suite of ISO certifications under accredited management systems in the fields of: Quality, Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, Risk Management, Business Continuity Management, Asset Management, Good Governance, and Innovation Management.

This achievement represents international recognition of the Ministry’s ability to deliver advanced services and its firm commitment to continuous improvement within a safe and sustainable work environment, effective risk management, and ensuring the continuity of service delivery regardless of challenges and obstacles. It also demonstrates the Ministry’s adoption of an innovation culture to provide creative solutions that meet the needs of customers and partners and exceed their expectations.

ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System:

Reflecting its firm commitment to excellence and providing the best services to its customers, the Ministry of Economy and Tourism obtained the ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System certificate, underscoring its constant and permanent focus on enhancing its systems and processes, ensuring customer satisfaction, improving performance, and enhancing efficiency across all areas of work.

ISO 45001:2018 - Occupational Health and safety Management System:

The Ministry of Economy and Tourism is proud to have obtained certification in the ISO 45001:2018 - Occupational Health and Safety Management System, which reflects its commitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, and ensuring the wellbeing of visitors and suppliers. It confirms that the Ministry has adopted highest international standards and practices to prevent hazards and accidents, reduce injuries and promote a ‘safety first’ culture within the work environment. 

This recognition reflects the Ministry’s ongoing commitment to improving the work environment in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
 

ISO 14001:2015 - Environment Management System:

As part of our commitment at the Ministry of Economy and Tourism to protecting the environment and promoting sustainability, we are proud to have obtained the ISO 14001:2015 - Environmental Management System certification. This achievement reflects our dedication to reducing pollution, optimizing resource consumption, and achieving balance between developmental requirements and environmental protection in line with the Sustainable Development Goals. ISO 31000: 2018 - Risk Management System:

Securing the international certification in Risk Management System ISO 31000:2018 reflects the Ministry of Economy and Tourism’s deep commitment to professionally and effectively identifying, analyzing, assessing, and addressing risks. It also highlights the Ministry’s enhanced ability to anticipate challenges and proactively respond to them, ensuring business continuity and the efficient achievement of strategic objectives.

ISO 22301: 2019 - Business Continuity Management System:

In line with its commitment to ensuring business continuity in the face of challenges, the Ministry of Economy and Tourism remains keen to implement the Business Continuity Management System ISO 22301: 2019 and  obtained an international accreditation certificate. This reflects its ongoing commitment to ensuring the uninterrupted delivery of vital services and operations under all circumstances. The system is based on an integrated framework for risk management, business impact analysis, continuity planning, and mitigation of potential disruptions. It strengthens the Ministry’s resilience against unexpected interruptions and enhances its ability to adapt, recover quickly, and maintain the satisfaction of customers and partners.

ISO 37000: 2021 - Governance Management System:

The Ministry of Economy adopts the best global practices in management systems, while simultaneously implementing international quality standards efficiently and effectively across the activities and services rendered through Customer Happiness Centres. Accordingly, the MOE has reaped numerous ISO certificates confirming its observance of quality management standards, occupational health and safety standards and the protection of employees, visitors and customers. The Ministry attained ISO innovation management systems with the aim of driving proactive and innovative solutions in national economic sectors.
