Service Fees
- Annual Fees from 1st -5th year:
• AED 100 for (natural persons, SMEs , and academia)
• AED 200 for( legal persons)
- Annual Fees from 6th -10th year:
• AED 500 for (natural persons, SMEs , and academia)
• AED 1000 for( legal persons)
- Annual Fees from 11th -15th year:
• AED 1,250 for (natural persons, SMEs , and academia)
• AED 2,500 for( legal persons)
- Annual Fees from 16th -20th year:
• AED 2,000 for (natural persons, SMEs , and academia)
• AED 4,000 for(legal persons)
Note:
- The applicant shall pay the annual fee at the beginning of each year of the Continuation of Protection
Conditions and Requirements
- The annual fee is calculated from application date
- For the national phase of Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) application, it is calculated retroactively from the international filing date.
- Late charges are imposed after the three month grace period; and are charged monthly 200 for individuals and 400 for companies (up to AED 2,000 for individuals and AED 4,000 for companies).
