Foreign Entity Branch Registration

This service allows for the issuance of an official certificate confirming the registration of a branch of a foreign establishment with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, and it is used to prove the branch’s legal status to government and private entities.

Note:

If the registration procedures for a Branch of a Foreign Establishment with the Ministry of Economy and Tourism are not completed within one month from the date of trade license issuance, the establishment shall be subject to an administrative financial penalty of AED 100,000, in addition to legal accountability under the applicable laws and regulations.

Conditions and Requirements

    A valid trade license issued by the competent authority.

Required Documents

    • Official certificate from the parent company, duly certified
    • A letter of appointment from an auditing office registered with the Ministry of Economy to audit the annual budget, except for representative offices.

Steps and Procedures

    Fill in the application data and attach the required documents.

    Verify the accuracy of the entered data and the attached documents, and either approve or reject the application, with a message sent to the establishment explaining the reasons for rejection in order to complete the missing requirements.

    Pay the service fees and automatically issue the registration certificate through the system.
