| Defect Description | The rollover valve in the fuel tank in some of these vehicles may not provide a proper seal in the event of a rollover crash. If the fuel tank rollover valve is missing, fuel may leak from the vehicle during certain types of rollover crashes. If a rollover crash were to occur, and if fuel were to leak and contact an ignition source, there is an increased risk of post-crash fire. Dealers will inspect the fuel tank and replace the fuel tank shell if the rollover valve is found to be dislodged or missing. |
