In continuation of the Ministry’s efforts in training and raising awareness about the obligations to combat money laundering, financing terrorism, financing the proliferation of weapons and the risks associated with them, the Ministry would like to announce that it is cooperating with the training institute “International Compliance Association (ICA)” to prepare an interactive training program that will enhance the empowerment of the sectors supervised by the Ministry with the best practices in the field in line with the applicable local legislation and the standards of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), so that those who pass the training program will be able to obtain a certificate entitled “Certificate in AML/CFT – DNFBPs” which will be issued jointly by the International Compliance Association (ICA) and the Ministry of Economy. Noting that all arrangements related to the training program are made directly with the International Compliance Association (ICA).
