Pavilion offers a glimpse into ancient Iranian civilization, its traditions, rituals and people

 

 

 H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, visited Iran's pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai. The pavilion, which is located in the Mobility District, has been set up under the theme ‘An Ancient and Stable Civilization, a Welcoming Nation.’

During the visit, H.E. Al Zeyoudi emphasized that Expo 2020 Dubai has ushered in a new phase of sustainable development by opening up new growth paths for the global economy and international trade. This enables them to become more efficient, flexible, and sustainable in a way that contributes to supporting and accelerating economic recovery and restoring growth in the post-Covid phase. He pointed out that the global exhibition underlines the UAE’s policy of openness to the world, as it is a pioneering platform for strengthening international partnerships, bringing together creative minds and integrating efforts to build the future.

H.E. Al Zeyoudi learned about Iran’s economic, trade and investment experience and its strategies to achieve sustainable development and build the future. The Iranian pavilion at Expo 2020 sheds light on the country’s economy, social development, culture, and peaceful coexistence and highlights ancient Iranian civilization and traditions, rituals, and people. Furthermore, it offers an opportunity to know more about exquisite hand-made Persian carpets for which, Iran is famous for.
