H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship and SMEs made a tour of the Republic of El Salvador Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai and was welcomed by Ms Vanesa Bandak, Deputy Commissioner General & Business Representative for El Salvador. The Central American nation’s pavilion themed ‘Starting from scratch to create a better world’ is located at the Mobility District.
H.E. Dr. Al Falasi stated that the Expo 2020 Dubai has provided a unique platform to bring the world together to the UAE and remapping the world economy and international trade based on a more efficient, flexible, and sustainable growth period, and accelerate economic recovery towards the post-covid era.
He explored the various features of the pavilion including a 3D, multisensory show which highlights the leading development projects in the Republic of El Salvador, as well as learned more about its history, culture, heritage, and main tourist attraction which were presented in an array of interactive screens within the pavilion.
Visitors of the pavilion can savor the aroma of the different types of coffee produced in El Salvador as well as see the handicraft works made by women and designed in the special traditional Salvadoran way called ‘Denis’.
